Activities To Do With Your Children During COVID-19 Pandemic - Hand/Eye Coordination

Working, sitting, and teaching from home can become dreary and repetitive. What is there to do when everything is primarily closed? It's easy to focus on the negatives, yet, it takes more work to focus on the positives. This is a great time to teach your child some of your childhood games.

Do you remember gathering with your siblings and/or cousins to teach each other new hand clapping games you learned at school? Or did you all make up your own hand clapping games compiled with pace, sounds, lyrics, and moves such as Ms. Mary Mack, Hot Hands, Down by the River, etc.?

​Get your child(ren) together tonight, sit in a circle, and play some games that engages your hand and eye coordination. Some examples and lyrics (from my childhood) are as followed:
