Eleanor M. Jones is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who believes that healing happens at the intersection of grace, understanding, and intentional growth. Grounded in compassion and guided by faith, she is passionate about supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenging seasons, particularly those involving broken trust, emotional disconnection, stress, and unresolved childhood experiences. Eleanor believes that hope and restoration are possible, even during times of deep struggle.
With 28 years of experience as an educator, Eleanor brings patience, insight, and a deep understanding of human development, communication, and life transitions into the therapeutic space. She works from a systemic and relational perspective, recognizing that relationships, family-of-origin patterns, lived experiences, and personal values; including spirituality when desired, can influence how individuals and couples' function in the present. Eleanor specializes in working with couples seeking to strengthen communication and rebuild trust, as well as individuals working toward emotional safety, clarity, and healthier relational patterns. Her approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices, while honoring each client’s autonomy, beliefs, and unique story. Eleanor brings both professional and personal life experience into her work. She is married to an amazing man and is the proud mother of two awesome adult children, a son and a daughter. These roles have further deepened her understanding of marriage, family dynamics, forgiveness, and the ongoing process of growth across the lifespan. Eleanor is committed to walking alongside her clients as they learn to extend grace to themselves, increase understanding, and grow into healthier, more fulfilling lives, emotionally and relationally. |
